Saving $ at Disney Restaurants & Shops - Loyalty Cards & Social Media

Here's a tip that can get you an extra discount at some of the restaurants & stores at Disney World and Disney Springs: Follow your favorite restaurants on social media, sign up and/or subscribe.

A few of the restaurants in the Parks, Disney Springs, and at the resorts can be found on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and some are known to offer special discounts and coupons.

In the past, Paddlefish at Disney Springs has offered a discount of 10% off your bill at times if you share a photo of your meal on Facebook. Other restaurants offer loyalty cards or newsletters, which include discounts and promotions.

There are other advantages too. For example,Landry's owns the Rainforest Cafe and Yak & Yeti restaurants. If you sign up for their loyalty card, you can bypass the line waiting if you do not have a dining reservation, (at least your wait will be shorter). Sprinkles Cupcakes and Earl of Sandwich also have special promotions too throughout the year which they email out to their loyalty members. (Free cupcake for your birthday anyone?)

And it's not just at the restaurants. I signed up at BASIN (bath soaps) and got $5 off my fist purchase after I joined. The trick is to sign up about 2 weeks before you arrive in the Orlando area.
